Submit Jellyfish photographs
You may submit your own pictures that you have taken, or found on the internet, of jellyfish(es).
It is important that you adhere to the following rules to ensure your photo is accepted for posting:
(1) Make sure your photograph is of jellyfish(es), and does not include any other creature(s) as prominent focal points.
(2) Ensure your photograph has not been posted before. See the Important Notice below for this.
(3) Use correct tagging.
> If the photograph is of one jellyfish, use the tag Jellyfish.
> If the photograph is of two or more jellyfishes, use the tag Jellyfishes.
> Along with the above tag, you must choose a colour to go with it. Provided are a selection of the most common colours. If you cannot decide which colour the picture is, please select unsure[?].
Also take note of the following guidelines which improve your chance of the picture being posted:
(1) Higher quality photographs are best.
(2) Make sure of Copyright issues before posting. (Do not submit a photo found on an internet page with clear ‘Do not redistribute’ etc. information.)

Important note: We try hard to make sure that no same photo is posted twice. It is easy to find out whether a photo has been posted before using the following method -
[1] Open up a new tab / window of fuckyeahjellyfishes.tumblr.com
[2] On the right, there are several links beneath the ‘JELLYFISHES<3’ heading. Click on Search.
[3] Using the search box, try and find out whether the photo has been posted before by searching for tags. ALL pictures are tagged with two tags - jellyfish(es) and the colour of the jellyfish(es). So for example, a photo of a white jellyfish will have the tags: jellyfish, white. A picture of three blue jellyfishes will have the tags: jellyfishes, blue - and so on.
> Alternative methods include looking through the Archive and seeing if the photo has been posted before.
